Let’s hope all these kids have the will and fortitude of raw steel, because this is just the beginning of the fight of their lives. And it’s only going to get even more nastier and vicious from the pro gun cult as it goes on.

This is pretty heartless. These kids just went through a terrible trauma. I was shaken just listening to some of the impromptu videos that were made during that shooting. The least those %%%$#%^^$#$#$$% can do is take the time and the trouble to at least act as if they care.

Republican Rep. Ross Spano says there is research that finds a connection between pornography use and mental and physical illnesses, forming and maintaining intimate relationships and deviant sexual behavior. Yeah, that's probably the same research anti-smut campaigners have referenced for thirty or forty years now, where ninety percent! of death-row inmates had encountered pornography at some point in their lives, or some such. It's remarkable how quickly Righties started leaning on the whatabout? button after the latest mass shooting. Whatabout porn? Whatabout violent movies/videogames/rap music (yes, they're still on about that)? Whatabout the breakdown of the Murcan family? Whatabout the lack of prayer in school? It's all nonsense, of course, and at some level even the Ross Spanos of the world know it, but they must deflect attention away from firearms and the deep pockets of the NRA. Stop voting for people who want you dead. Amen. –alopecia
