While the very serious old media love affair with their designated "serious, sane Republican" Paul Ryan continues, the Wall Street Journal posted a freak-out item today lamenting that Washington hates Paul Ryan.
Washington, in WSJ vernacular, evidently means Pete Orzag and Paul Krugman. Because they're the only ones mentioned in the piece. I know! Totally Washington!
It's impossible to find a Republican member of Congress who's serious and sane. They might be those things in private -- who knows? -- but publicly, they're all weakling, castrata apparatchiks bowing at altar of the Limbaugh-Beck nexus.
