Glenn Beck not only believes that progressives are both Nazis and communists, but he also believes that progressives are "fighting" for warrantless wiretapping and email data mining.
It's no use refuting any of this because it's simply made up. Progressives have been the loudest voices opposed to wiretaps and the like, but none of that matters because Glenn Beck is merely pinning every label and nefarious scheme on progressives regardless of objective reality.
At this point, Glenn Beck could suggest that progressives are all shapeshifters from Deep Space Nine, and his audience would believe it. I would begin to receive emails from wingnuts with subject lines like: "Nazi commie shapeshifter! Go back to the worm hole!"
