Gov. Haley Links Trump’s Hatespeech to Deadly Shootings, Will Support Him Anyway

And now for our next installment of Nothing Matters.

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley spoke to reporters yesterday and drew a direct line between GOP nominee Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric and the actions of Dylann Roof, the young white supremacist who killed 9 at the Emanuel Church in Charleston last year.

Haley, who endorsed then-candidate Marco Rubio ahead of South Carolina's primary, said she has vocally criticized Trump because "I know what that rhetoric can do. I saw it happen." [...]

Trump has a responsibility for the country's well-being to use a civil, respectful tone, she told reporters two weeks ahead of the anniversary of the Emanuel shooting.

Few other conservatives are willing to go as far as she has, but you may recall that Haley has also previously said she intends to support Donald Trump anyway because nothing matters.

They all support Donald Trump now. The only holdouts remaining are a handful of conservative writers and columnists who see Trump as a liberal dictator.

They should all be asked to account for every ridiculous and racist thing Trump says. When they respond by saying Hillary Clinton cannot be allowed in the White House, they should be asked to explain that as well. Why exactly do they believe Trump is better?
