Trump and his enablers will no doubt do what terrible things they can in the decreasing number of days left to them. And Biden should just undo it all on Day One with a “All Executive Orders issued since November 3 are utterly revoked” Executive Order.

Even better, “All EOs issued since January 20, 2017”.

Trump can do more damage, but at least what he does from here out is fairly easily reversed.

In reply to muselet. Exactly. All this chatter about him buying a network is, of course, speculation but it just doesn't add up based on a cursory look at the information out there. No one will lend to him, he owes nearly a billion dollars to various places, he's got an empty-cupboard grocery list of lawsuits that are going to hog-tie his pig ass in exhaustive legal fees, rich donors are likely looking to the next money slave for their bidding, his properties are failing, and he's a horrible business person with short-sighted instincts. Honestly, it wouldn't shock me if he dies in a few years from a terrible diet and spine shattering stress.

I have a hard time believing that Trump can provide any real competition. The man has never run a successful enterprise in his life. He ran how many casinos into the dirt? Also, is even a nimrod like Hannity foolish to think that Trump would reliably pay him at all even if could match whatever Fox pays him?

The Trump administration is acting like every authoritarian regime in the world that has ever lost an election: deny the legitimacy of the vote, try to cling to power and monkeywrench the operation of government. The only thing missing is mobilizing the military.

A normal administration treats itself as something of a caretaker government until the new president is inaugurated. However, this is not a normal administration and Donald Trump is not a normal president.

*sigh*

I don’t want to underestimate the potential for a successful all-Trump-all-the-time streaming service—there are plenty of Red Hats out there, after all, with lots and lots of grievances against … well, pretty much everything—but while streaming is cheaper to establish and run than cable or broadcast, Trump is effectively broke. He owes more than he can possibly pay back and I can’t think of anyone other than Vladimir Putin who would front him the kind of money he’d need. The money he can skim from the election recount fund won’t be nearly enough.

Trump won’t go away, since people like him never do, but in a year or so it should be very much easier to ignore him and everything he says and does.
