I agree with this TPM reader:
I've got a Masters in Political Science so I'm not a complete ignoramus - but my instincts seem to be at odds with so many others on this and many other issues. [...] What's going on? Every thing that I think should be a plus for Obama turns out to be much more complicated. I'm a little worried about tomorrow night. 80,000 cheering people. Fantastic speech. Great spectacle. Am I going to wake up on Friday morning and find that all of these so-called positives are bad for Obama?
Every that should be positive is actually negative, and everything that should be a negative is still a negative. It's the barbecue media script. And the movie ends with the doddering grill master winning.
