In other news, the size of the global middle class shrank in 2020 for the first time in 10 years according to the World Bank.

Meanwhile, President Biden has nominated former Senator Bill Nelson to be the next administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). I haven't heard that name in years.

Finally, over 60 countries could see their sovereign credit ratings downgraded in the next decade because of climate change according to a study from Cambridge University.

"We find that 63 sovereigns suffer climate-induced downgrades of approximately 1.02 notches by 2030, rising to 80 sovereigns facing an average downgrade of 2.48 notches by 2100," the study here released on Thursday said.

The hardest hit countries included China, Chile, Malaysia, and Mexico which could see six notches of downgrades by the end of the century, as well as the United States, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, and Peru that could see around four.

“Our results show that virtually all countries, whether rich or poor, hot or cold, will suffer downgrades if the current trajectory of carbon emissions is maintained.”

Today and tomorrow are kind of an important anniversary for me.

Today marks two years since I met the core group of people who make up my current group of friends. These are people who knew the old version of me and the person I am today and for the most part they've never treated me any differently. Tomorrow also marks two years since I started my low carb diet and one year since I started exercising five days per week. This isn't something I have talked about much as far as I can recall, but I'm in very good shape now for anyone of any age. I honestly never thought I would come as far as I have in any period of time, much less a year or two. Between my transition and my exercise routine, I am as radically different compared to my old self as anyone can be.

The amazing thing is I still feel like I'm just getting started. Before my transition, I was extremely depressed, in poor shape, and on the path to an early death. There were times when I thought I might die when I'm 40 and I was Okay with that idea, but now I plan to be hot when I'm 40. But my routines have been just as important for my mental health as they have my physical health.
