'My Mommy… Doesn't Need Fixing.'

At a book signing, a nine-year-old boy told Michele Bachmann, "My mommy -- Miss Bachmann, my mommy's gay but she doesn't need fixing."

I appreciate the intention of this very awkward video, but I don't like that this little boy was clearly forced by his mother to do this -- he's clearly uncomfortable and painfully shy.

The mother's cause is good and righteous, but it's not the job of this kid to deliver her message for her. She clearly has something important to say to Bachmann (and especially Bachmann's horrendous husband), so she should have said it herself.
