In other news, an undisclosed number of National Guard service members deployed against protesters on behalf of Trump last week have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) have filed a criminal complaint with the FBI asking them to investigate Secretary of State Mike Pompeo for obstruction under U.S. Code 1505 for firing the inspector general while he was investigating Pompeo.

Finally, on the two year anniversary of Trump's first "summit" with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, the North says they're recommitting to building up their military. Also, they say Trump is a liar and a hypocrite.

In a statement Friday marking the two-year anniversary of the meeting between Trump and Kim Jong Un in Singapore, North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon accused the Trump administration of using the summit to score political points and to isolate Pyongyang.

"Never again will we provide the U.S. chief executive with another package to be used for achievements without receiving any returns," he said.

Instead of wanting to improve relations, Ri said Washington is "hell-bent on only exacerbating the situation."

"Nothing is more hypocritical than an empty promise," he said in the statement carried by North Korea's official KCNA news agency.

I think Trump actually did want the problem to go away because I think he would like to build a casino resort in Pyongyang, but they're right about everything else.

I mean, as is the case with Russia and China, they're wrong but also they aren't. Trump compromises our positions from every possible direction. He gives our adversaries ammunition so what they say is materially true even if they say it in bad faith.

Have a good weekend. The weather is beautiful in most places.
