Pence Extorts CNN to Carry His Daily Briefings

Cable television networks are airing less and less of Trump's daily coronavirus briefings as the briefings contain fewer and fewer verifiable or true details that are worth airing, but CNN is being pressured by the White House coronavirus task force to continue airing the briefings in full.

Vice President Mike Pence -- who ostensibly leads the virus task force but only when Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner isn't available -- is reportedly refusing to book medical experts on CNN if they don't cover his portion of the daily briefing.

Pence's office, which is responsible for booking the officials on networks during the pandemic, said it will only allow experts such as Dr. Deborah Birx or Dr. Anthony Fauci to appear on CNN if the network televises the portion of the White House briefings that includes the vice president and other coronavirus task force members. CNN did, however, air the vice president's portion of the briefing Wednesday night.

Regardless, Pence's office has declined to make the nation's top health care officials available to CNN for the last seven days.

Look, I know Pence wants to run for president in 2024, but he can forget.

Pence has the personality of a raw potato and everyone including him knows he's just a convenient connection between the utterly unholy Donald Trump and the religious right. That's the only reason he exists and the only reason he's still on Trump's ticket in 2020.

Pence will be easily defeated in the 2024 GOP primary race by Donald Trump Jr.
