Yeah… There is so much I really love about it but it always felt (to me at least) that the “conspiracy” storyline was being made up as they went along and then strung together afterwards.

I’ve wondered if in the long run the show would have been better off without it, which is strange to say because when I was a kid the conspiracy episodes were always what I really loved.

I’m in season three of my second X files re..rewatch. It’s too bad really, while it’s a good time killer, the series manages mostly to simply tread water. That and Scully’s frustrating reticence to acknowledge what is in front of her. Of course, it’s more difficult to see anything ground breaking given that I’ve already seen it, plus the blur of it and other tv shows’ and movies’ history is quite obfuscating.

I thought it was the Teletubbies that made kids gay. Oh well, the important thing is that something makes them gay. ツ
