Economy Poll President Obama Republican Party

President Obama’s Job Approval Has America On His Side

According to a recent poll conducted by Bloomberg,  President’s Obama’s job approval is at 55%– his strongest level of public support since September 2009. Also from the poll, Republicans who think they are going into the sequester fight with any leverage, or claim to be the voice of “the American people,” the actual American people take issue:

Only 35 percent of the country has a favorable view of the Republican Party, the lowest rating in a survey that began in September 2009. The party’s brand slipped six percentage points in the last six months, the poll shows.

Americans by 49 percent to 44 percent believe Obama’s proposals for government spending on infrastructure, education and alternative energy are more likely to create jobs than Republican calls to cut spending and taxes to build business confidence and spur employment.

That must be some other America because this poll is not at all indicative of the America that Republicans say they know!

Meanwhile, GOP leaders and talking heads keep complaining about a lack of leadership, or bi-partisanship, or an ass that is accessible to the torture, ‘forcible rape,’ and economic hostage-takers party– putting the blame for America’s unfortunate accident of electing crazy, partisan obstructionist people to government– squarely on the shoulders of President Obama.

Good luck with that, GOP.
