Report: Trump’s Phoenix Rally Was Worse Than Usual Because of the Small Crowd

Trump was especially unhinged during his rally in Arizona last week, wasn't he? He foamed at the mouth a little more than usual.

According to Bloomberg, there's a specific reason for that.

Trump was reportedly angry because the crowd was not as big as he wanted it to be and he apparently fired his longtime advance planner because of it.

Backstage, waiting in a room with a television monitor, Trump was displeased, one person familiar with the incident said: TV optics and crowd sizes are extremely important to the president.

As his surrogates warmed up the audience, the expanse of shiny concrete eventually filled in with cheering Trump fans. But it was too late for a longtime Trump aide, George Gigicos, the former White House director of advance who had organized the event as a contractor to the Republican National Committee. Trump later had his top security aide, Keith Schiller, inform Gigicos that he’d never manage a Trump rally again, according to three people familiar with the matter.

It's really pathetic that Trump can't even fire people face to face, especially someone who's been planning his rallies for years. Firing people for him seems to be the only reason Keith Schiller exists.

Bloomberg's report heavily implies that Trump brought up a possible pardon of Joe Arpaio (which he issued on Friday night) during his rally because he knew the crowd would love it. It appears he needed to be puffed up after feeling humiliated by the smaller than usual crowd.

I feel like someone this narcissistic should be institutionalized.
