Anyone still touting the line that Trump was going to be some kind of a different Republican can feel free take that nonsense and stuff it in, up or down the orifice of their choice. The same should be said to those who claimed that Hillary would have been worse...or that Trump wouldn't have been so bad, because he'll kickstart the "revolution" faster than Hillary.

One month in. We’re one month in and we are already at the point where the Intel community is expected to produce doctored reports to justify Trump’s xenophobic fear mongering.

We were told that Trump wouldn’t pander to the Conservative Christian bigots because hey he’s a rich guy from NY but he abandoned protecting Transgendered high school kids despite even DeVos understanding they need protecting. Now this administration is cooking the books “Post 9/11” style and they’re not even waiting for the 9/11 style attack.

One. Month. In.

Dread, surely you’re hip to the fact that there is deep, deep trouble in the intelligence community. The first thing that comes to mind is the three Awan brothers who were recently let go….

Three brothers who managed office information technology for members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and other lawmakers were abruptly relieved of their duties on suspicion that they accessed congressional computer networks without permission. (h/t Daily Caller)

The brothers, there was a forth working in another dept…worked for the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, The committee deals with sensitive information and documents including those related to the war on terrorism.

So where I’m leading here is that there are moles with not the best intentions working within the intel community. Go ahead and ask intel for supporting data, they will probably come up empty handed. Then Trump can go mole hunting via Kelly, Mattis, and Pompeo.

Be careful what you wish for. 🙂

There is something deeply wrong with the WH asking the intelligence community to provide information in support of something you want to hear.

The question should be “is this right,” not “tell me what I want to hear.” Or, more specifically, “cherry pick data to help me sell my preconceived notions to the public with the pretense that they are supported by the intelligence community.”
