My heart goes out to the people of San Bruno, California where a gas explosion ripped through the neighborhood.
The above photo is actually the house where I grew up in Annandale, Virginia. When I was a year old, road workers cut a natural gas line and two of the houses on our street flooded with gas and exploded. My Mom and I were lucky and escaped unharmed, but our neighbors weren't so lucky.
