Serious Consequences

In other news, a federal judge has ruled that the emoluments lawsuit against Trump's businesses may continue, potentially opening up the Trump Organizations books to see which foreign governments are paying him.

Meanwhile, Trump is reportedly mad at Melania because she watches CNN on Air Force One, rather than Fox News. There's also this:

He raged at his staff for violating a rule that the White House entourage should begin each trip tuned to Fox — his preferred network over what he considers the “fake news” CNN — and caused “a bit of a stir” aboard Air Force One, according to an email obtained by The New York Times. The email, an internal exchange between officials in the White House Military Office and the White House Communications Agency last Thursday, also called for the ordering of two additional televisions to support Beam, a TiVo-like streaming device, to make sure the president and first lady could both watch TV in their separate hotel rooms when they travel.

Finally, there are rumors that Ecuador will turn Julian Assange over to British authorities any day now. I am very excited.

  • The Mullah in that cartoon looks so genuinely happy. You have an eye for this, JM.

I have my doubts about anything stopping Trump’s corruption at this point.

Only Fox News can be shown on Air Force One. How anybody can debase themselves by working for a “man” that imposes such a rule is difficult to understand.

Ya know, I suddenly find myself reconsidering the merits of waterboarding. Go fig…

Can’t remember the exact wording, but the article I read about it had a sentence that went “His aides work to shield him from the outside world.”

Our tragedy isn’t just that the President is actually a toddler, but that everyone around him works hard to treat him just like one.

Which, as far as I am concerned, makes them (and his supporters) just as culpable in his evil deeds.

          Yes. I assumed that’s a given.

Finally..perhaps Rump will actually be forced to obey the law for once. Will be very interesting to see what comes out of this…

I think the Novichock incidents on British soil and Assange contacts with the Kremlin may have soured Ecuador on the idea of sheltering someone who works with the Kremlin to subvert democracies. I’m just guessing but it should trouble anyone.
    Even the gop.

    • Aynwrong

Nothing troubles the GOP except dirty libs.

        And the truth.
