In other news, Joe Biden has chosen Representative Deb Haaland (D-AZ) to serve as the next interior secretary. She would be the first Native American to ever hold the position if confirmed. I love this!

Meanwhile, the scope of Russia's big hack is still expanding. The National Nuclear Security Administration, which guards nuclear weapons, saw its networks accessed by the hackers. We also have our first indication out of Arizona that local governments were also compromised.

Finally, lawmakers say briefings on the hack from the Trump regime have been a joke.

U.S. Representative Stephen Lynch, the head of the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform panel’s national security subcommittee, said the information provided was “very disappointing” and that it appeared U.S. “cybersecurity experts don’t have a real sense yet in terms of the breadth of the intrusion itself.”

Other lawmakers also told reporters that the administration offered few specifics.

The Trump White House has completely checked out on this one just as they've checked out of caring about COVID.
