Sullivan on Baby Boomers

I have occasionally expressed considerable (and some would say "unfair") rage at baby boomers and how they've successfully screwed subsequent generations, both politically and economically. Here's Andrew Sullivan adding more clarity to the discussion:

I should note here that not all baby boomers are guilty of selling out their 1960s idealism for 1980s materialistic cynicism, or for embracing Reaganomics, or for creating unsustainable bubble economies, etc, etc. So I don't necessarily mean you. And neither does Sullivan. But there's a considerable pile of awfulness that my generation (post-boomer/GenerationX, whatever) and future generations will have to clean up. And we didn't necessarily make the mess.
