Everyone's freaking out about the AP-GfK poll showing a 44-43 race. It's clearly a ridiculous poll and absolutely an outlier. Here's one reason:
45% of this poll's respondents are evangelicals or born-again Christians
According to Joe, only 23 percent of voters in 2004 were evangelicals. Now even if we were to assume that evangelicals are somehow more excited about Palin than they were about President Bush, there's no way in hell they'd make up nearly have of all voters nationwide. Sorry, Drudge.
