The Kochs Say They’ll Defend GOP Reps. From Trump

Written by SK Ashby

Donald Trump made an idle threat to support candidates who challenge Republican congressmen who vote against Trumpcare, but the Koch Brothers say they'll meet that threat.

Duke and Duke say they'll defend representatives from primary challengers.

Americans for Prosperity and Freedom Partners, the Koch network's big budget grass-roots activism and advertising groups, are teaming up to create a "seven-figure" reserve fund to support lawmakers who buck President Donald Trump and House Speaker Paul Ryan on the health care vote, as the threat of primaries looms over some opponents of the bill. The Koch groups will spend the money on paid media, direct mail and grass-roots canvassing.

Lest you get the idea that the Kochs are now guardians of decent society, they're vowing to defend congressmen who vote against the bill because they believe it doesn't go far enough.

It's not clear if repealing Obamacare's coverage requirements and committing human sacrifice is enough to appease the Kochs but, in any event, I'll be rooting for a giant meteor to wipe them all out.
