He also gave free and discount medical service during this time, and during his entire medical career, to those who couldn’t afford them. He did not take medicare or medicaid and never turned anyone away for inability to pay. Quite a few of those getting free or discounted service were members of minority groups. This was debunked in the ’90s when the Rove/Bush team opposed Ron returnning to congress. He won. Each time it is brought up it is brought up as if it were never refuted, as a pure smear.
