The Rollout

In other news, Georgia's runoff election will conclude tonight, but don't expect results to be entirely clear right away. If it's close, the count could take as long as the presidential count did not including any potential recounts.

Meanwhile, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has reversed its decision to blacklist three Chinese telecommunication companies. The blacklisting came under pressure from the Trump regime, but it's likely the Biden administration will roll back the regime's measures.

Finally, Saudi Arabia has announced they're ending their nearly four year blockade of Qatar.

AL-ULA, Saudi Arabia (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia and its three Arab allies agreed to restore full ties with Doha at a summit in the kingdom on Tuesday, the Saudi foreign minister said.

Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud told a news conference after the gathering of Gulf Arab states, also attended by Egypt, that there was political will and good faith to guarantee implementation of the agreement to restore diplomatic and other ties, including resumption of flights.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the Saudis blockaded Qatar with the blessing of Trump and Jared Kushner and now they're ending it right before Trump and Kushner leave the White House. They presumably got what they wanted out of it and want to make a quick exit before the Biden administration takes over.
