If John McCain is not elected president, which one of the following three possible candidates would you be most likely to support for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012?
Mitt Romney 35%
Mike Huckabee 26%
Sarah Palin 20%
Even Huckabee is running stronger than Palin. Look, I wouldn't be shocked if McCain dropped Palin this week and replaced her with the Romney Unit. Also, earlier tonight, I overheard someone on cable mentioning that Palin was getting all kinds of TV offers based on her "popularity."
Let me save you some cash, TV executives... Sarah Palin is not popular. Her favorables are 34 percent. That's George W. Bush's number from earlier this year. That's not a good thing. So spare us the reality show or the cable news talk show. Her voice sounds like two pieces of styrofoam being rubbed together. She's a shrieking eel. No-one likes her.
