The Tour de France Drinking Game

Watch the Tour de France on television for the next four days. Seriously. Especially if you've never followed cycling before. Record the morning live coverage on Versus or, if you don't have a DVR, just watch the prime time show. It's going to be huge -- a flat stage today ending with an uphill finish in Barcelona, Spain, followed by three days of mayhem in the Pyrenees mountains.

Here's a drinking game to give it some zing.

1. Drink everytime you hear:

-Paul Sherwen say "front end of the main field" or "sorry for that bit of picture breakup" or "topped up with energy."
-Phil Liggett refer to Cancellara as "Spartacus"
-Phil Liggett's signature "dancing on those pedals."
-"Big Tom Boonen" or "Big George Hincapie"

2. Drink a whole beer, shot or glass when you hear:

-Phil Liggett remark about a rider's legs.
-Paul Sherwen correct Phil Liggett when Liggett misidentifies a rider or team.
-Fabian Cancellara say "for sure."

3. Drink two beers, two shots or two glasses when you hear:

-Phil Liggett refer to Samuel Demoulin is a "little boy."
-Paul Sherwen describe geological or minerological factoids about the region.

Enjoy the race.
