Via Balloon Juice, the Washington Post is continuing to sell the thoroughly debunked idea that the Dodd and Dorgan retirements are bad news for Democrats. Maybe Dorgan, but Dodd is absolutely great news.
Last night, Rachel Maddow tallied up the Senate and House retirements and there are more retiring Republicans than Democrats -- in each chamber. More Republicans leaving the Senate. More Republicans leaving the House.
But we shouldn't be surprised. Everything is bad news for the Democrats. It's the script.
