In other news, risk managers at DHL say 48 percent of the manufacturing industry and 40 percent of the automotive industry have no contingency plans for Trump imposing another round of tariffs on Chinese goods on December 15th.

Meanwhile, the World Trade Organization (WTO) has rejected the European Union's attempt to stop Trump's tariffs in response to Airbus subsidies.

Finally, the Trump regime has finally released the military aid for Lebanon that they've been withholding for no specified reason. We also don't know why it was released.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration has quietly released more than $100 million in military assistance to Lebanon after months of unexplained delay that led some lawmakers to compare it to the aid for Ukraine at the center of the impeachment inquiry.

The $105 million in Foreign Military Financing funds for the Lebanese Armed Forces was released just before the Thanksgiving holiday and lawmakers were notified of the step on Monday, according to two congressional staffers and an administration official.

    • I believe having no contingency plans for a forthcoming—and entirely predictable—disaster is called whistling past the graveyard.

    • That the WTO wouldn’t stop tariffs is as surprising as the sunrise: the WTO’s rules are predicated on nations acting rationally and following rules. The organization is unsuited to dealing with the likes of Donald Trump.

    • I doubt Trump in his most lucid moment could explain why military aid for Lebanon was delayed. He’d have an even harder time explaining why it was released.

    • That cartoon is magnificent.
