Trump Criticizes “Fake News” by Citing Actual Fake News

Despot-elect Donald Trump didn't wait until early this morning to deny that he enjoys Russian water sports and his denial, which was delivered in ALL CAPS, included a link to a fake news site.

I'm going to save you a click because I cannot say that "Lifezette" is even safe to click on.

Lifezette is an outlet owned by conservative radio host and Neo-Nazi wraith Laura Ingraham and, among other things, the site has spread stories about Bill and Hillary Clinton literally killing their political opponents.

Our next president is a man who actually believes everything he reads on the internet, unless it's critical of him or his bff Vladimir Putin.

It's true that the report detailing the dirt Russian intelligence allegedly has on Trump hasn't been completely verified, however the American intelligence community apparently found it credible. Moreover, the fact that none of it has been completely verified did not stop every publication on the planet from publishing every single document farted by Wikileaks.

A number of journalists have criticized Buzzfeed for publishing the Russian Kompromat document even though their own Email boners are still half-mast.

If Russia says it, it must be true.

    Juan Cole has it right:

If Trump has a vulnerability with regard to Russia, it is far more likely to be financial. He kept going bankrupt (six times!) as a strategy to avoid paying creditors, and understandably real banks stopped wanting to lend to him. The Financial Times alleges that Trump then got in bed with very wealthy figures from, e.g., Kazakhstan, who loaned him money or licensed his name for, e.g., the Trump Soho, in which he was a partner with a shadowy Kazakh figure.

Whatever is in the Donald Trump sex videos—ick—the FSB supposedly has stashed away might be shocking to us and embarrassing to Trump, but he wakes up in a cold sweat thinking about his various lines of credit evaporating. That’s where Vladimir Putin’s influence over Trump lies.

Oh, and at Trump’s press conference this morning, he refused to let CNN ask a question because “your organization’s terrible” and, apparently, CNN is “fake news:

It’s going to be a very long four years.

    • Tony Lavely

It’s already been a very long four years.

        Sure seems like it.

I used to think George W Bush was the ultimate creation of the AM Talk radio culture the conservative politics has devolved into. Boy was I wrong. Our President *Jesus…* will now regularly cite fringe, lunatic websites owned by manifestly cynical, unpatriotic sell outs who couldn’t care less about the pain and damage they are inflicting upon the country they have always claimed to love more than thou.

Well then, if BOTH the Kremlin AND Trump deny the allegations, that settles it, case closed. Are you telling me you’re going to believe our dishonest media and our incompetent intelligence services instead?!

You bet your ass I am!
