Planned Parenthood developed a black market for body parts cut from aborted fetuses for use in the development of new drugs, remember? That never really happened and the people responsible for deceptively editing video to make it appear that way were held legally responsible for it, but that did not stop Republicans in Congress from holding literally two year's worth of hearings on the matter or stop the Trump regime from defunding such medical research.

At least two companies racing to create a vaccine against the coronavirus, Moderna and AstraZeneca, are also relying on the cells. Johnson & Johnson is testing its vaccine in another so-called cell line originally produced from fetal tissue.
As participants in the White House’s Operation Warp Speed, all three vaccine-makers have received federal funding.
It was pure electoral politics when Republicans led a multi-year, ongoing effort to defund Planned Parenthood and eventually defund medical research based on federal grants. Planned Parenthood provides health care to low income woman and you know what else they do? Register people to vote.
It's pure electoral politics now to set aside their own zealotry in the interests of quickly developing vaccines or treating Trump.
Trump receiving treatments based on tissue from aborted fetuses could be viewed against the backdrop of Senate Republicans rushing the confirmation of Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, because they believe she will vote to ban abortion and possibly even research based on abortions.
The Republican party is a ouroboros of bad faith.
This is slightly off-topic, but when I began looking for transgender health care, I called my local Planned Parenthood and the lady I spoke to pointed me in the right direction. Anyone who attacks Planned Parenthood is evil.
