That headline isn't a joke. Romney said it.
"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and frankly I'd be making it easier for Senator Clinton or Obama to win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror."
That was part of his CPAC address. He was right about forestalling his national campaign -- I became a borderline alcoholic during the 2008 primary thinking the same thing would happen to the Democrats. But the "surrender to terror" thing is so 2002.
