There's a lot to be pissed about in this video of racist Rep. Lynn Jenkins (R-KKK) in which the she tells Elizabeth Smith, an audience member without healthcare, to "be a grown up" and get insurance.
Yeah, that's pretty awful.
But earlier in the clip a wingnut in the audience shouts out, "I don't want to pay for your healthcare!" Or something similar. Oddly, this is what really pissed me off about the video. First, and most obviously, very Christian of him. Secondly, no one's asking Shouty McAsshat to pay for Smith's insurance. She clearly states that she wants to pay for her own insurance in the form of a public option. And she's right. She'd have to pay a premium -- and the wingnut shouter guy wouldn't have to "pay for her healthcare."
We can't let these ignorant jagoffs win this fight. We just can't let the stupid win.
