Evidently the far-right believes everything Qaddafi says. Specifically, the Libyan man/weirdo said President Obama "is friend." And the Drudgiverse believes him.
Honestly, I don't think they believe Qaddafi. But they're so completely motivated to make the president look like a secret Muslim, they don't care if they appear stupid and gullible in the process. (See also misspelled signs, ridiculous teleprompter conspiracy theories and every googly-eyed Glenn Beck rant.)
That said, if they seriously believe Qaddafi -- for real -- they're dumber than I thought. And that's saying a lot.
