Palin's approval rating is at 39 percent today.
President Bush was at around 39 percent just after the 2006 midterms when the nation rejected the Republican Party, Rumsfeld was fired and the most overheard word used to describe George W. Bush was "incompetent."
UPDATE: Willie Geist just called Palin "a rock star." Huh-whah? Then again, William Hung was a big star there for a while.
