According to several Cigna employees, the insurer offers its customers the opportunity to opt out of abortion coverage — and the RNC did not choose to opt out.
Why are Republicans helping to finance abortion services? After all, they're paying into a funding pool that can be used to pay abortion doctors -- for the last 18 years.
UPDATE: Not any more. Steele has opted out of the coverage. It occurs to me that perhaps we should've kept our mouths shut on this. For the sake of the pro-choice Republicans who might need such a procedure.
