Abortion War On Women

Almost No One Attends Anti-Planned Parenthood Video Screening Outside Congress

Written by SK Ashby

The Susan B. Anthony List organization invited 2,000 congressional staff members to a screening of the fraudulent anti-Planned Parenthood videos but, according to Roll Call, almost no one showed up.

Sixteen is the number of congressional aides who responded to the invitation, sent out by the anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony List.

Seven is the number of staffers who actually checked in at the event’s registration desk on Capitol Hill Thursday morning.

Two is the number who stayed through to the end of the 90-minute program.

Even Larry Klayman drew a bigger crowd than this to his rally to overthrow the government.

Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser blamed the sparse attendance on the "horror" of the videos and, to be fair, that may have been a small part of it.

The more likely explanation is no one cares because they've already seen the videos or they know them to be a fraud. Furthermore, not everyone is eager to spend their day watching what is essentially a snuff film.

Anti-abortion conservatives, from Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, who also set up a theater screening of the videos outside the governor's mansion, to the Susan B. Anthony List which held a screening outside Congress, have contributed to a hoax based on a series of videos that seem increasingly pornographic.

It's torture porn for zealots.
