Climate Change. How Does It Work?

"It's snowing! In Winter! Where's the Global Warming?" -Sean Hannity

Records set between May 31st and June 7th:

Rainfall: 291
Snowfall: 5
High Temperatures: 1463
Low Temperatures: 239
Lowest Max Temperatures: 190
Highest Min Temperatures: 900
Total: 3088

2011 has also been a record breaker for severe weather with Tornado reports numbering 106% above average.

If it seems like this year's tornado season has been unusually severe, that's because it has. The Weather Channel and weather.com's Tornado Expert Dr. Greg Forbes says the 2011 tornado numbers are a mind-boggling 106% above average. And the year is not over yet.

"It took until December in 2010 to have as many tornadoes as we've already had this year," says Dr. Forbes. "Needless to say, by virtue of an inconceivable April, we're on a record pace."

To date, there have been 1262 Tornadoes, with the average count for an entire year being 612.

If a major hurricane makes landfall this summer, will Eric Cantor demand that we off-set the cost of disaster relief with cuts to Medicare? How long before Republicans begin calling The Weather Channel a liberal network?
