El Pissolero

I'm weird in that I prefer athletes who might not win every time but who are, you know, classy -- athletes who have character -- who exemplify sportsmanship and guts. Jens Voigt for example.

Alberto Contador, on the other hand, might be the fastest climber in the peloton, but he's acting like is a pissy pants douche.

"My relationship with Lance is zero. He is a great champion and has done a great Tour, but on a personal level I have never had a great admiration for him and I never will," the Spaniard told a news conference in Madrid.

Armstrong played a solid team roll in the mountains and helped Contador win. Speaking of which, Armstrong's response on Twitter:

RT @axelmerckx: A champion is also measured on how much he respect his teammates and opponents. You can win a race on your own not a gra[nd tour] ...

pistolero, there is no "i" in "team". what did i say in March? Lots to learn. Restated.

Seeing these comments from AC. If I were him I'd drop this drivel and start thanking his team. w/o them, he doesn't win.

Team!
