Representative Blake Farenthold (pictured above on the right) is not happy that they haven't repealed Obamacare yet and he knows just who to play: women
But he's not mad at Democratic women. Representative Duck Pajamas is upset with Republican women and, if he had his way, he'd shoot them. Or something.
During a radio interview on a Corpus Christi station last Friday, Farenthold said he finds it “absolutely repugnant” that “the Senate does not have the courage to do some of the things that every Republican in the Senate promised to do.” [...]
“Some of the people that are opposed to this [i.e., repealing Obamacare] — there are some female senators from the northeast,” Farenthold said. “If it was a guy from south Texas I might ask them to step outside and settle this Aaron Burr-style.”
You know, I can't imagine Republican women in the Senate are very fond of him either. I can easily imagine them gagging at the very thought of him.
As far as pulling an Aaron Burr goes, I'm struggling to think of many people I find to be less intimating than Blake Farenthold. He may be from Texas, but he's not the Marlboro Man.
